Us
The Ninth St. Bakery began as a family run bakery in 1981, serving
baked goods in our small cafe on Ninth St. in Durham. Our business
quickly grew as people found they could buy fresh and healthy baked
goods from a locally owned bake shop.
By 1992 we had
outgrown our original space and moved into a larger cafe, moving the
wholesale operations to a separate location in downtown Durham.
Now in our 21st year in business the Ninth St. Bakery
exists as a wholesale bakery - providing loaves of
fresh bread and pastries to many stores and restaurants in
the area. If you drop by our wholesale
operation you can still get a fresh cup of coffee and
delicious baked goods in our retail cafe. |
